I've been trying to DL it to my 360 for like a half hour - everybody and their brother must be DL'ing it. Ahhh it's done, off to watch on my 8ft. screen... dayum I should make some popcorn hehe.

I want that too but only if the coop supports more than 2 players, it'll die out pretty fast if it's only for 2 players. Everybody completes it on live and then move on to multiplayer later ignoring the coop option.

To Naqser: I think he meant that the covenant have literally taken over Earth. If you see the end Cortana says; "This is the way the world ends"... Doesn't that mean we already know Earth is destroyed? That Forerunner facility and the light look alot like a halo ring going off at the end...

Well I've made a few speculations over all of this, based on my knowledge from the games and the books

you know when the carrier jumped from new mombasa, it tore everything with it. That must have been how they got the forerunner building up so fast and that is the only thing they are interested in. so no, don't think they have taken over earth, only africa. so earth is not destroyed, they didn't destroy Reach either.

Master chief is not the only Spartan left, there are 8 left in total

This is Halo 3 we are talking about, the Flood have to be in it somehow, so I've come up with some ideas, the covenant belive that it is their ultimate goal, blablabla, final salvation blablabla, well, it is a teleporter, the flood starts pouring through it and gravemind comes there as well. Manifesting itself and other stuff. Other possability is that the elites aboard the covenant ship along with grunts and hunters starts rebeling, and shuts the engine down after either learning the thruth or, if they can't be the guardians of the prophets and now considered heretics, then the whole covenant shall not get their salvation shuts down the engine. If it is the second first then they might learn the thruth from "the Demon" and humanity gains an ally.

High Charity is lost to the covenant, that is a fact, but haven't come up with something yet about it.

The Arbiter, Keyes, Johnsson and Guilty Spark:

Keyes asks about all the Forerunner technology, cities and stuff and Guilty Spark mentiones a planet in a certain system, that would be earth, which just got activated, They all ask Guilty if they can get there in time, so Guilty teleports them to a Forerunner ship, those would be hidden inside the ring and enter space from those circles that is on the outside of the ringworld, and he would take millions of sentinels with him. The forerunner ship that the prophet of truth used jumped pretty fast to earth, that would be becasue forerunner ships got a crystal. One is found on Reach and makes slipspacejumping go much faster. They jump to earth and engage the Covenant.
